Sure I have bought better sounding amps and subwoofers...but never for this price. Nice sounding kit. If you run the amp at maximum gain you get a ton of engine noise. But if you run it a little more than half but less than 3/4 it sounds great with plenty of punch and no noise. Nice kit. You will not be disappointed with it.

I got this from Best Buy with a warranty, bought a ported box, and hooked it up myself. This setup slaps pretty hard, for the price! I am not disappointed.

My son says it is an AWESOME sub. He has had A LOT of subs and says this is the BEST out of all of them. In fact, some of the ones he's had have been high-dollar competition subs! Would trade this for anything else!

Very simple and to the point: so easy to install, I think my cat could do it--there's only one place these cables can plug into, and the only two connectors that could possibly be reversed are color coded. It took me less than 5 minutes including disassembly of my dash to pull out my DNX-5120 and run the USB cable into my center console. Used with 4th gen iPod, 5th gen iPod, original 8GB iPhone, and 3GS 16GB iPhone, confirmed to work with them all for both music playback and video playback with no signal or quality loss. What else can I say?

I used this cable with my Kenwood P-NAV514 Video/Navigation Pack with KVT-514 and KNA-G510. It works fine all of the time with my iPod Classic. It works fine most of the time with my iPhone 3Gs. I'd buy it again in a minute. Just too handy to leave the iPod Classic in the truck hooked up. It's like having a 60GB hard drive with all of my media on it at the control of the head unit. Even the videos work great.

It is a cool product except that even though i updated the firmware i can't get the video to work

I purchased this cable along with the wireless remote and it made me wonder what took me so long to buy them. The only issues that I have is that you have to pull your radio out to connect the cable and you have to sometimes power down and power up the radio to get it to connect to the Ipod. I updated the software on my Kenwood DDX512 and I am able to play all of my music and videos while charging the Ipod. The Ipod now lives in my glove box. I would suggest purchasing the remote as well.Kenwood KNA-RCDV330 Wireless remote for Kenwood multimedia receivers. I'm not too big on tapping the screen every time I want to change my music or mess with the volume. It does what it says and it's nice to have the audio come out of a direct line rather than the headphone jack. Oh yea, the item was delivered pretty quick and without any issues and it came in packaging that fit into my mailbox.

This is ONE of the BEST products I've ever purchased online. I love it!!!! I spent so much $$$ on buying different amps to push my one 15" Lanzar Opti sub, but with this EQ I could have stayed with the worst amp in the world and it would have come out sounding hella good.

For the little amount that this EQ costs, the features it has are priceless. The EQ is very good quality, it has everything you need to make your system sound great. I installed mine into the dash below my head unit. I love the Aux switch it has, as I can switch from my head unit to my ipod with the click of a button. As a wonderfully clean and crisp sound to my system. Love the fact that it has independant bass and volume control so I can control how loud my woofers are. The blue lights are nice, sometimes a little bright. Knobs are very solid and perform well. Would buy again and put into almost any car audio situation. I believe it is one of the best that amazon sells for such a reasonable price. If you buy it, you won't be sorry. Its a great product and will last. I've had mine now for almost a year and it is still in excellent condition. Has been working great!

Added this to my boat sound system trying to increase clarity and volume to my tower speakers and sub. All I can say is wow and this thing is worth every cent. Made a dramatic difference in clarity. Probably due to the increase in volt increase it sends out to the amp. The additional control to the sub made mine more controlable and a huge increase in punch. Oh...and it was a breeze to install. I highly reccomend this product!

I bought this product with high hopes, I've been mixing live events for 5 years and I was excited to mix my car stereo. I have a 400 watt Kicker 4 channel powering 4 6.5" Kicker RS Components ($223 a pair) alpine head unit and 1600w in the trunk powering 2 12"s with dynamat xtreme. My stereo sounded nice without the eq and now sounds horrible. The Clarion eq has a nice interface but the functionality is lackluster. First off- when the unit is cold (32-40 degrees F) the center zero notches do not click when on or passing thru the middle. Next they aren't illuminated when its dark, the surround is but not the current setting indicator. This unit only one RCA Input so if your head unit doesn't have a 'main out' you may encounter some problems because all the sound frequency is running thru the one RCA, It could use a LFE or Low end input on the eq. The voltage going to the amps is considerably higher (the only good thing about this product) there is more music coming from my speakers, but only at very low volume. The louder you turn the eq volume the less control you have from taking the bass from the speakers without taking it from the sub. There is considerable noise from the speakers when the volume is at zero. The fader doesn't fade from front to back it seems to fade in and out. The bottom line is, don't buy this product if your car stereo sounds good now, this product wont make it sound any better. Perhaps if you dont have subs, and your speakers can handle a lot of bass and they dont get it from your head unit this product can help you get more from your speakers. I'm going to try and return this and use that money to buy a new dash kit because i had to demolish it it get this to fit below my alpine.

For less than $60 this is a great piece to add to your sound system. I love the control it gives for your lows, mids, and highs. I would recommend this EQ to anyone.

This sub has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. i am in love and would never buy anything but alpine anymore.

For the price these subs pound. But don't think they're gonna be even close to te loudest subs. Yeah 2 of these will pound hard given the right amount of power, but compared to more expensive subs these can't compete. I had 2 of these and they were very loud, my trunk rattled before I got dynamat. I upgraded to $600 subs and will never go back to these. Type R's are VERY good middle level subs.

This is a great speaker that has alot of bass. I have 2 in a vented enclosure in my '96 Taurus. I'm pushing them on a 4500 watt Power Acoustik amp with a 5 farad capacitor. These speakers will hit!!! They have great sound quality. Even tho they have a lot of bass there is still more to be desired.

These thing is unbelieveable,I have them wired to a Alpine pdx 1000 watt amp,everything shakes on my 2002 mercury mountaineer,when I turn them up I feel like my skin is leaving my body, othe peeps in my vehicle complain of their heart.But overall great subs.

This sub is one of the best subs I've ever owned, and trust me I've been through a few brands (polk, pioneer, sony, now alpine). Pushing this sucker with an Alpine MRP-500 amp which pushes 500 watts rms at 2 ohm load. It literally feels like someone's constantly kicking the back of my seat, with the headunit (pioneer DEH-p4000ub, also a good product) at around -12 (highest is +6) and the gain at about half on the amp. This sub SLAMS and is practically unbearable at full volume, its bound to give u a headache both inside the car and standing next to it when u show it off. Just can't say enough about this sub. This sub paired with the above mentioned alpine amp are the best mix for the money in my opinion.

the camera seems similar quality to my CCD-4XS. the wiring comes out the end of the threaded screw like end as seen in the picture. you're supposed to screw it through the license plate hole and through the body of the car. cool idea, but the connector at the end of the wiring does not fit through the included nut that screws on the other side to secure the camera. it's just a little too big. i called the company, and they admitted it was "stupid".

I have to give this product a big thumbs up, its good enough to push 2 12" JBL Subs with pretty good power, accurate bass, but its not going to make your eardrums beg for mercy, which may or may not be a deal breaker for you. I would recommend this product though for a decent sound system and better than average factory sound.

As i said, its a monster!! I am pushing it at 1.33 OHMS, which may not be reccomended, but its keeping cool, its very loud and clear, i have two DVC 4 ohm infinities ran in series to four ohms, and two Quantum cozmik 12s ar two ohms, this thing pounds

It brings really good power to a subwoofer but tends to get really, really hot and even starts smelling like something is overheating.

I recently purchased the Kenwood KAC-7204 1000 Watt Bridgable Amplifier, and very satisfied. I was looking for a quality amp, with a reasonable price, and found it at Amazon. Would buy anything from them again....mjm
